review:The Alchemist

The book i completed in 5 hrs straight.
It has a bit of philosophical tinge associated with it....But despite that book is expremely well knitted and tend to make u turn the pages in anticipation of wat's going to happen next.
The book basically supported my three philosophies and i liked the way it blurted out those extremely hard philosophies in such a simple flow of story of a shepherd.

Philosophy#1:At that point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible. They are not afraid to dream, and to yearn for everything they would like to see happen to them in their lives. But, as time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that it will be impossible for them to realize their destiny. It's a force that appears to be negative, but actually shows you how to realize your destiny. It prepares your spirit and your will, because there is one great truth on this planet: whoever you are, or whatever it is that you do, when you really want something, it's because that desire originated in the soul of the universe. It's your mission on earth.

Philosophy#2:And, when you "want" something and put hard work, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it

Philosophy#3:World is a desert and Everything in world is a mirage......Whatever u seek to get in this world is within urself.Happiness, contentment, fame everything is inside you.....you just have to search ur soul.

I also liked the happy ending of book as it reaffirmed my faith in all the above mentioned philosophies.
Conclusively,rating(for non philosophical ppl)=7/10
rating(for philosophical ppl)=9/10
