INFOCOMM:the 5 days:Day 4
Day4====
Today also we spent most of our time talking to (?) and participating in quizzes spanning over 5hrs,
We got good crowds each n everyday at our stall and we had to even say no to
student consultancy....ppl seem genuinly interested and we colleted lots of contacts...
It was turn of reddy to win a dvd player today and ram again missed out:-(.....his damn luck..
By now quiz master also started to recognize us and used to crack jokes
about ram's bad luck.....ram by now must have collected arnd 50 prizes and was now
giving cds free to absolute strangers!!
I took pics of the all the chic stalls (who all knew me by now!!)using Dr. Mandal's
digicam .....some were amused and some just smiled for the pose..
We wrapped it all up at 8 and we were invitedfor a dinner by a fellow quizzing enthusiastic
who was very impressed by ram's prowess.Mr. Bhowmik had a nice family and a cosy
apartment ,he was a management freelance professor and had plethora of experience
he worked in TOI,DALAL STREET,XLRI etc etc.....nowadays he is working for a NGO.
He gave us some fundaes about life and carreer as whole and by the end of dinner
i was very clear that i am walking on the right path and just have an ideal approach
to live life....he was particularly emphatic about the happiness in life and the small things
in life which give u happiness.It was really nice to see a management guru to display
the summary of all his life and work experience.
After that we went to 89 cinema and caught a late night show at 10:30 pm of
'Neal n Nicky'.I will give the review of the movie in some post later.
So we came back and after watching some highlights of match ....went for the slumber.
